About Mrs. Razo
This is my 15th year teaching Art at Lincoln Middle School. I majored in Art and minored in Education at Saint Xavier University in Chicago. I completed my Masters degree in the Interdisciplinary Arts program at Columbia College Chicago and I have also received my English as a Second Language Endorsement at the Illinois Resource Center in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
At Lincoln, I sponsor the after school Art Club and Drama Club/ Stage Crew to design the sets and props for the school musical. In the spring, I help plan for our school's annual Career Fair. I've also mentored students in our INSPIRE program and coached boys volleyball. I enjoy being involved in the extracurricular activities just as much as the students do!
I am the Explore Team Leader where I work closely with the Wellness, Music, and Technology teachers to effectively plan for the school year and to ensure that the quality of our programs are meeting the needs of all our students.
I have grown so much as an educator over the past several years, and I'm convinced that I have the best job in the world! I am so fortunate to be working in a school district that strongly supports the arts and to have the opportunity to teach such amazing students everyday!
